DIGITAL DOWNLOAD — NOTHING IS MAILED.
Herald Lab delivers researched surname-history PDFs by email only. There is no parcel, no postage, and no physical shipment. Shopify labels this page “Shipping policy”; for us it means digital delivery.

Herald Lab products are delivered digitally. Nothing is mailed, posted, or shipped as a physical parcel.

What you receive

• A downloadable PDF (and related digital files as stated on the product page) sent to the email address on your order.
• No paper document, parchment, envelope, package, or frame is sent by post.

Delivery timeframe

• Custom surname research: typically within 24 hours of a paid order. If research takes longer, we notify you by email.
• Template / instant-download products: available immediately after checkout.

How delivery works

• Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for a message from Herald Lab with your PDF download link or attachment.
• There is no tracking number, warehouse handling, or postage, because nothing physical is mailed.

What we need from you

• Last name (required); second surname for dual-name documents.
• Optional country/region of family origin.
• Preferred PDF language.

Important honesty note

A coat of arms is not an entitlement of everyone who shares a surname. Our documents present historical and heraldic research associated with a surname as commonly recorded in archival sources; they do not grant legal rights, noble titles, or exclusive ownership of a coat of arms.

Document quality

Custom files are high-resolution printable PDFs, formatted for 8.5×11 / A4. Executive packs use a parchment-style layout and, when sources support it, a full-achievement artistic rendering. Delivery is by email; no physical parchment is produced or posted.

Languages

The PDF can be prepared in English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch, Romanian, or Swedish.
